Indoor Fun

We have had the coldest, dampest, and dreariest Winter I can remember while living down here. Now I know it doesn't compare to the rest of our families and their snow accumulation along with below zero temps but in Florida the damp chill goes through your bones. Due to the weather "extremes" we have been stuck inside a LOT...so I had to break out the arts and crafts to keep our little guy happy.

The last time I tried playdough with Steven he ate it but it's amazing how a couple months can change things. He now loves it and requests to play with his "pa-do" almost daily.

I do not like glitter, markers, paint, etc...just because I despise cleaning up the mess however I thought I would give watercolors a try. Steven was so excited and giggled the entire time. We have made many masterpieces since and I know Grandma Ferry and GiGi have each received a piece of his fine artwork.

That's brave. I'm afraid to get paints out at home. He gets his fill at Mom's Day Out. Looks like fun. I'm so sorry that it has been sooooo cold down there. Everyone south of Miami feels sorry for ya'll.

Ken looks like he is concentrating so hard on what he is making. Cute pictures.
