There is a very unique place on Lake Martin called Chimney Rock. Ken says the water is 150 ft. deep at this point so you cannot lower an anchor but need to tie a rope around your leg or arms so you can stay near the boat. Many boaters will hang out in front of the cliffs to swim and a few will take the plunge off the "cliffs". We arrived and were able to see some younger kids jumping off the lower landings so when it was time for us to get in and cool off, Steven became upset. We thought he wanted to go back in the boat but oh no......he says, "I go jump!" Ha...child...you are NOT jumping off the cliffs and if this mommy has anything to say, you will NEVER jump off the cliffs!
