Our cat Jackie was such a good sport with Steven as a baby but now things have slowly started to change. Steven is now mobile and WATCH OUT!!! He LOVES Jackie and wants to play with her. We have been working on "nice touch, gentle, etc." and he did well when we would sit next to him and hold his hand as he would learn how to pet. There were a couple times when he grabbed more than he was suppose to but it didn't stop Jackie from coming up to him and showing him signs of affection.
Well, now......she is not too pleased with him. Jackie has never been the type of cat to lay on you and let you rub her. She does not like to be picked up or disturbed. Often we rarely see her except when she wants to be rubbed. Steven however has not learned these personality traits quite yet and WILL NOT stop chasing her.

Looks like nothing is safe from Steven any more. Can't wait to see him in person again. Now, Shawna, remember when you thought he would never crawl?
Gracie is still upset now by her past bad acts towards our cat, b/c our cat won't go into her room. The cat does love Gracie and loves being pet, but she just steers clear of her room. It's funny, but she actually almost cried about it this very morning (Gracie, not the cat, I mean ;-)).
Oh...poor Gracie!!!!
A great way to practice crawling. Pity the poor kitty when Steven learns to run. You may never see that cat again.
