Birthday Party

We celebrated Steven's birthday with our family on Saturday, November 15th. The kids went across the street to play and then we had dinner, cake, and opened presents. Steven was not too sure about the cake.

He got his fingers dirty but didn't care for the taste of the frosting or cake. I commented that his mommy never lets him make a mess so that is why he didn't know what to do with the cake. I flew up to Minnesota for Thanksgiving break to see my sister's baby Micah. While we were up there Steven started to eat more table food. He loved little Micah. He would go up to the swing and help push him back and forth. He didn't mind the cold either. The only snow we were able to see was a little pile outside my mom's house. My mom and Dale live on top of a hill so it was very windy when we went outside to "play." The wind kept knocking Steven over...poor little guy!! While we were home, my mom bought Steven another birthday cake so we could sing happy birthday with my brothers, sisters, niece, and nephews who couldn't make the party in Florida. We set the cake near him and started to take some pictures when to my surprise he dug his fingers into the cake. (Not the smash cake) So we quickly gave him the smash cake. He would grab a handful and shove it in his mouth. Then he would look across the table at the "paparazzi" and laugh. He was a ham!!! The cake was demolished, he looked like a smurf, and the next day he produced the most pretty blue BM. That my boy!!!!












Mmmm....this Thanksgiving dinner is sooooo good!!!!





Mommy and Steven getting ready for the Holidazzle Parade in downtown Minneapolis. It was a beautiful night. Steven however fell asleep right before the parade started.
We went over to Teresa and Andrew's house to hang out before we flew back. I was delighted to see Steven and Peyton playing nice this time. Keegan was too cute. He was the "big brother" to Steven. He always made sure Steven had a toy to play with.
