The First Week

Look at me. I am one week old today!!!!!!

Steven and I were discharged from the hospital on Friday afternoon. We were all very happy to be home. Ellen, Mel, Ken, and Michelle had everything ready for Steven's big day!!!

Our first week has gone rather smoothly. Grandmother Long loves changing diapers and holding Steven. She has also been busy cooking, cleaning, and doing the laundry. Grandfather Long had many projects to do since Steven's arrival was a "little" early. Ken helped his dad and before you knew it our nursery was complete.

Steven had his first bath in the hospital but here is his "first" bath at home. He didn't love his bath but he didn't complain too much either. To show us how much he appreciated everything he decided to pee and poop too! Thanks Steven!

We had beautiful weather on Tuesday so we decided to take Steve for his first walk in his new wheels. We did encounter a mechanical problem...the carseat was on backwards...but once fixed we were off! Steven kept his eyes open for most of the ride. It was a success!!

Steven already has a new nickname, "One Sock". Every time we would change him we noticed he was only wearing one sock. We have learned to keep our eyes out for any missing socks!!

Is that a dookie I see in the bottom of the bath tub? That's great.
