Easter Egg Hunt

Today was Celebration's Easter egg hunt. Each year the town hall fills 22,000 plastic eggs full of candy. They spread them across the soccer field and playground at Spring Park which is right across the street from our house. They have the area sectioned off by age groups so everyone gets an opportunity to collect some eggs. They also have a DJ, inflatables, and the Easter Bunny!!

While we were waiting for the festivities to begin Ken commented that he never thought he would be attending these events. Little did he know!!! I know he enjoyed the moment and is looking forward to next year's hunt!!!

"Look I found an egg!"

Check out the video of Steven collecting eggs!!

The video is great. In true Celebration style, it looks like they made sure all the kids would get PLENTY of eggs. Did they actually hide any of them?

No. They used the soccer field for two age groups; 0-3 yr olds and the other side for the 4-6 year olds. Then the playground was for all the older children. The lawn was covered with eggs!!
