Kane's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning, so Steven and I skyped with Uncle Ki-Ki (Kane) this afternoon. We wish we could be there with him, but he will definitely be in our thoughts and prayers. My mom and sister are heading to Minneapolis tonight and will spend the weekend with him while he recovers in the hospital and then he is heading back home to my mom's to spend the rest of his six week recovery.
Please continue to pray for him and his medical team as well as a speedy recovery.

Thanks for your prayers. Kane's surgery went well but he is in a lot of pain. They are giving him morphine and he still has an epidural in his back. He started to move from the bed to the chair and then they are having him walk down the hall too. His throat is extremely sore so he cannot talk too much. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
