Update

My brother Kane was diagnosed with a type of kidney cancer called renal cell carcinoma. He met with the doctors today and will have part of his kidney removed on March 26th. It is a 2-3 hour, complicated surgery and will take 3-6 weeks to recover. The tumor is a slow-growing tumor and many times you are unaware you even have it because you are not having any symptoms. In Kane's case, he was lucky his appendix was "rotten" and that is how they found it. I believe the tumor is 2.5cm and is in the early stages but is on the inside of his kidney. Please continue to pray for him and a speedy recovery.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Courtney.

The doctors told mom that there is an 85-90% chance, the surgery will take care of it. Which is great!!!

Steven and I are not going up now...just wasn't possible.
