My little brother Kane is having a biopsy tomorrow on his kidney. One year ago, he went into the emergency room for stomach/abdomen pains where they diagnosed him with an appendicitis. Now, one year later, the doctor who performed the procedure calls my brother, informs him how there was a mass on his kidney a year ago and he failed to check it out while performing the surgery. He missed the "note" on the record and would now like Kane to come in for an MRI.
The MRI showed the mass has not grown (thankfully) but they wanted to send him to a urologist. Yesterday, the urologist informed Kane that he needs a biopsy because there is a significant chance the spot is cancer. They told him that it is rare for someone who is 27 to have this type of cancer because it is usually found in older individuals.
So....please keep him in your prayers and pray the spot is not cancer!!!!!! I wish I was home to be with him!
We love you Kane!
