Lawson's Christening

Ken, Steven, and I drove up to Alabama to spend some time with Ken' family before I had to start school. While we were visiting, we were able to attend Lawson's Christening in Birmingham. The church was beautiful and the service was great. It was a very special day for Lawson and we were so blessed to be able to be a part of his day. The Christening outfit was the same outfit Grandfather, Uncle Stephen, Uncle Dave, and Uncle Ken wore. After the service we went to the Birmingham Museum of Art for a delicious lunch buffet. It was such a treat!!

The Lawson Family

The Long Family

We tried to take some pictures of the two cousins together after the Christening. This didn't work out as planned but then again you can't always follow the plan with children!

Lawson is like all children. He wants to go and explore. Steven is not too mobile yet so sitting nicely for a picture is a little easier with Steven. As you can see we still continue to try and get a picture ignoring the fact that Lawson does not want his picture to be taken. He wants to go and eat!! So......this is what we get. Guess we should listen to the children!!!
